MARIA C. (FRARACCIO) TURINI

94, of Cranston, passed away on Thursday March 14, 2013 at the Cherry Hill Manor, Johnston. She was the beloved wife of the late George A. Turini, Sr. Born in Providence she was a daughter of the late Costanzo and Concettina (Marinaro) Fraraccio.

Maria was a former member of the St. Bartholomew Church Choir, St. Joseph Hospital Women's Auxiliary, Women's Youth League of R.I., and also the Alpine Country Club. She was an avid knitter and received a Certificate of Appreciation from Operation Head Start Program of the Women and Infants Hospital. She also enjoyed swimming and travel.

She is survived by her loving children, E. Judy Turini of Cranston, George A. Turini, Jr. and his late wife Joan of Cranston, and John A. Turini II and his wife Stephanie of Smithfield; her grandchildren George A. Turini III, John A. Turini III; her brother Pat Fraraccio of North Carolina.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Monday at 9am at Immaculate Conception Church, 237 Garden Hills Drive, Cranston followed by her Mass of Christian Burial at 10am. Interment will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS are respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Tribute Program, P.O.
