Maria (Lourenco) Silva

94, of Providence, passed away Thursday April 7, 2022 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Cristiano Silva.

Born in Terceira Acores, Portugal she was the daughter of the late Jose Toste and Rosa DeMelo (Pires) Lourenco. Maria was a laundry attendant at RI Hospital for 35 years before retirement.

She was the devoted mother of Cristiano M. Silva, Jose A. Silva, George H. Silva, Manuel H. Silva, Victor R. Silva and Mario F. Silva; loving grandmother of twelve and loving great-grandmother of seven. She was the dear sister of Liliana Barbosa and the late Rosa Silveira, Adelma Silveira, Ophelia Sousa and Maria Sampaio.

Visiting hours are THURSDAY MORNING April 14, 2022 from 10 am to 11 am. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave. Cranston followed by a Funeral Home Service at 11 am. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
