MARIA "Z" PERSECHINO

82, of Cedar Island Rd., Narragansett passed away on, Monday, August 2, 2010 peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Providence, the daughter of the late Antonio and Raffaela (Antelmi) Persechino. She resided in Providence until 1995 when she moved to Harbour Island in Narragansett. After retirement as an underwriter employed by John Hancock Insurance Co, she volunteered as a reader for the blind at In-Sight and as an Instructor/Tax Preparer with the AARP Tax Program. She also worked for Robert W. Kenyon at The George A. Howard and Eliza Gardner Howard Foundation. She is survived by her sister Angela Brunetti and her husband Tony of Narragansett, three nephews, Anthony and his wife Janet, David and his wife Cindy, Paul and his wife Peggy and one niece Lisa and her husband Mike Nademlynsky; three great nephews, Paul, A.J. and Kyle and three great nieces, Vikki, Christina and Stephanie. Her funeral will be held on Friday at 8:45am from the Nardolillo Funeral Home SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL 1111 Boston Neck Rd. (Rt.1A), Narragansett followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary, Star of the Sea Church, Narragansett at 10am. Burial will take place in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS Thursday 5-8pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary, Star of the Sea Church, 864 Pt. Judith Rd., Narragansett, RI 02882.
