MARIA (PASCONE) LEONE

97, of Providence, passed away peacefully on Sunday February 5, 2012 surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Antonio Leone. Born in Panni, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Maria Costanza (DeLuca) Pascone.

She was the devoted mother of Doris Salvadore and her husband Michael Sr. of Johnston; loving grandmother of Michael Salvadore Jr. and his wife Tracey, Judy Salvadore and her husband Robert Cazzani and Dana Salvadore and her husband Jim Cazzani; and four great-granddaughters. She was the dear sister of Grace Meschino of Providence, and the late Dr. John Pascone, Angela Jeffrey and Filomena Pascone.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday at 10 a.m. in St. Pius Church, Providence. Burial will be in St. James Cemetery, Manville.

VISITING HOURS are respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to your charity of choice.
