Maria I. (Vacca) Angelino

63, of Foster, passed away in her home surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, February 15, 2025. She was the beloved wife of John Angelino Sr for 42 years. Born in Forio D'Ischia, Italy, she was the daughter of Giuseppina (Coppa) Vacca and the late Joseph M. Vacca. Maria is also survived by her loving children, John Angelino Jr. and his husband Frank P. Zorabedian Jr. of Chepachet, Franco G. Angelino of Foster, and was predeceased by her loving son Angelo Joseph Angelino. She was the cherished sister of Frances Vacca of Johnston and Eleonora “Lee” Marzella of Johnston. 

She was a cherished member of her community and dedicated to her career as a Clerk in the Johnston School Department for many years. Maria's life was a tapestry woven with vibrant threads of family, friendship, and joy. Known for her warm heart and generous spirit, she took great pleasure in her hobbies and interests. Maria enjoyed crocheting, particularly making blankets for her family, which served as symbols of her love and care. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, whether it was playing bingo at Foxwoods, dancing at parties, or spending serene moments poolside.

Family vacations were a highlight for Maria, where she created memories that would be cherished for years to come. Her love for music was evident as she enjoyed listening to all types, often filling her home with melodies that connected her to those she cared about. Maria had a green thumb, often seen tending to her garden and taking pride in her canning of sauces and jellies. She was also the heart of holiday gatherings, always ready to host and make every occasion special for her loved ones.

Her funeral will be held on Saturday, Feb. 22nd, at 8:45 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston, followed by her Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Joseph Church, Scituate. VISITING HOURS: Friday from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
