MARIA (LAMANTIA) GRUTTADAURIA, 87, of Briarcliffe Manor, Johnston, formerly of Cranston, died Saturday, October 13, 2007 at Miriam Hospital in Providence. She was the beloved wife of the late Angelo Gruttadauria.
Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Bartholomew and Angelina (Palmisano) Lamantia, she moved to Cranston in 1985.
She was the devoted mother of Maria Thurber of Cranston, Ronald A. Gruttadauria and his wife Marie of Johnston, and Tyrone M. Gruttadauria of Cranston; loving grandmother of four; great-grandmother of six; and dear sister of the late Salvatore, Michael and John Lamantia.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Tuesday at 9 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Ghost Church, Knight St., Providence at 10 a.m.
Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
