MARIA D. "MARY" DiFAZIO
MARIA D. (FARNESI) DiFAZIO "MARY", 94, formerly of Plainfield Pike, Johnston, passed away Wednesday, December 23, 2009 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital in North Providence. She was the beloved wife of the late Marco A. DiFazio. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Luigi and Madalena (DiGiuseppe) Farnesi.
Maria worked at Davol Rubber Co. and Cable Electric before retiring.
She was the sister of Margaret J. Corsetti of Providence, Helen Charlette of Blackstone, MA, Beatrice Santoro of Johnston, Armando Farnesi of Narragansett, Laura Palazzo of Johnston and the late Enrico Farnesi, Ida Ferriera and Lucy Corcelli. Maria is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be held Tuesday at 9:00 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Rocco's Church, 927 Atwood Ave., Johnston at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS Monday 4-7 p.m.
