MARIA "MARY" (PATE) CONFORTI

80, of Cranston, passed away peacefully with her family at her side on Monday, August 10, 2009 at home. She was the beloved wife of the late Santo Conforti. Born in Cranston she was a daughter of the late Francesco and Bibiana "Angela" (Arlia) Pate. Mrs. Conforti was a secretary for the former Leviton Manufacturing Company of Warwick for over thirty-five years. She was most recently employed as an associate greeter at Wal-Mart in the lawn and garden department. Maria is survived by her loving sisters Rose T. Pate of Cranston and her late husband (Guerino) and Eleanor Lisi and her husband Arthur of Cranston. She was the cherished aunt and great aunt of numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Saturday at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Matthew's Church, Elmwood Avenue, Cranston. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston.
