90, of Johnston, passed away on Friday, July 20, 2012 at Cherry Hill Manor, Johnston. She was the beloved wife of seventy years to Cosmo Carlucci of Johnston. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late John and Filomena (Tuccinardi) Paliotti. Mary took great pride in her family, spending Saturdays with her sisters, or Sunday dinners at "Grams" brought the most joyous moments to her life. Mary's loving father was the exclusive landscaper at Roger Williams Park and Zoo, passing on his artistic interest to her in the cultivation of her lilacs, peonies, and roses, giving her much joy at her former Elm Street residence.
Besides her husband, she leaves three daughters, Marie L. Jemery of Johnston, Carol A. Carlucci-Delin of Fort Lauderdale, FL, and Janice Carlucci of Charlestown, and daughter-in-law Frances Carlucci of Cranston, two sons John C. Carlucci of Melbourne, FL and David M. Carlucci of East Hartford, CT. Mary was the cherished grandmother of Victoria Calabro, Richard Carlucci, George Jemery III, Marissa Miller, Elana and Evan Blicker, and the late Eric and John Carlucci, and the great-grandmother of Ashley Carlucci, Dimitri Calabro, George and Noah Jemery, and Nathan and Ian Miller. Mary was the sister of Angelina Orlandi of Johnston, Theresa Lepre of Providence, and the late Anna Ricci, Rose Conca, and Joseph Paliotti.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Tuesday at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Robert Bellarmine Church, Atwood Avenue, Johnston. Interment will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS Monday 6-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Robert Bellarmine Food Shelf, 1804 Atwood Avenue, Johnston.
