MARIA M. (GEREMIA) BUONOMANO
MARIA M. (GEREMIA) Buonomano 99, of Simmonsville Ave., Johnston passed away peacefully on Monday June 22, 2009 at Cherry Hill Manor, in Johnston. She was the wife of the late Emanuel Buonomano.
Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Lucio and Pasqualina (D'Arezzo) Geremia. Maria worked for Spiedel Corporation for 17 years before retiring in 1972. She was a member of the Johnston Senior Citizens and a communicant of St. Rocco' Church. She was the mother of Vincent Buonomano and mother in-law of Patricia Buonomano, and grandmother of Kristen Buonomano She was the sister of the late Eleanor Minicucci, Louise Cardente-Palazzo, Pauline Lato, Gilda DiConti and Lucy DiRita.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday at 9 a.m. in St. Rocco's Church Johnston and may call at the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME 1278 Park Ave., Cranston Thursday 4-8 p.m. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
