Maria (Onorato) Angelino

93, of North Providence, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 5, 2025 at Golden Crest Nursing Home surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Angelo Angelino. Born in Crispano, Naples, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Giovanni and Orsolina Onorato. Maria immigrated to the United States with her six children in 1971, to rejoin her husband after he had made a new life for them in America. She loved her family dearly, especially their gatherings on Thursdays and Saturdays for macaroni dinners.

Maria is survived by her loving children, Giorgio Angelino and his late wife Linda, John Angelino and his wife Maria, Gemma Illiano Leclerc and her husband Eric, Antonio Angelino and his wife Sheryl, Orsola Angelino, Giuseppe Angelino and his wife Donna; cherished grandchildren, (late) Angelo L. Angelino, Giorgio P. Angelino (Grace), (late) Angelo J. Angelino, John Angelino Jr. (Frank Zorabedian Jr.), Franco Angelino, (late) Cipriano M. Illiano, Angelo Illiano, Cristina M. Mancone (Paul Jr.), Sofia M. Illiano, Sara M. Thomas (Robert III), Angelo T. Angelino, Michael A. Angelino, Joseph T. Angelino and Maria D. Angelino; great-grandchildren, Anthony C. Illiano, Paul Mancone III, Gia Maria Mancone, Vincenzo A. Illiano, Robert L. Thomas IV, and Ryan A. Thomas. She was the dear sister of Antonio Onorato, Carmine Onorato, and the late Teresa and Michelina Onorato. 

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Monday, January 13, 2025 at 9:00 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Thomas Church, 65 Fruit Hill Avenue, Providence. Entombment will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS will be held on Sunday, January 12, 2025 from 4:00 – 7:00 pm.
