MARGUERITE (ALMAGNO) MACARI

93, of Cranston, passed away peacefully, on Wednesday, February 1, 2012, at Cherry Hill Manor, Johnston. She was the beloved wife of the late Frank Macari. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Domenic and Edith (Collins) Almagno.

Marguerite is survived by her loving daughters, Carolyn S. Landi of Ormond Beach, FL and Mary Frances Provenzo and her husband Anthony of Johnston. She was the cherished grandmother of Alyce M. Robinson, Jessica A. Provenzo, Nicholas A. Provenzo, and great-grandmother of Samantha M. Robinson. Marguerite was the devoted sister of Mary Almagno of Johnston, Lucy Almagno of Hollywood, FL, John DiLorenzo of North Providence, and the late Angelo and Edward Almagno.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Saturday at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Robert Bellarmine Church, Atwood Avenue, Johnston. Interment will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS Friday 6-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Robert Bellarmine Food Shelf, 1804 Atwood Avenue, Johnston, RI 02919.
