MARGARET J. (STEWART) STANZIANO

Margaret (Stewart) Stanziano 94, of Narragansett and previously of Virginia, passed away Monday November 23, 2009.. She was the beloved wife of the late Arthur Stanziano. She was born in Wakefield, RI; she was a daughter of the late William E. Stewart, Sr. and Margaret (McCarrey) Stewart. Mrs. Stanziano was a graduate of George Washington University where she earned her degree in Home Economics, and she also taught reading at St. Anthony's School in VA, and CCD in West Warwick. She also served as a WAVE in the US Navy during WW II. Margaret is survived by her loving children, Michael Stanziano of Narragansett and Angela Stanziano Daly of CT & Narragansett. She was the cherished grandmother of four and was the sister of the late William Stewart Jr., Catherine Swinson, Mary Benson and Elizabeth Osterman. Her funeral will be held on Friday at 10am from the Nardolillo Funeral Home SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL 1111 Boston Neck Rd. (Rte. 1A) Narragansett, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am in St. Veronica's Chapel, Boston Neck Rd. Narragansett. Burial will be in RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.
