Margaret “ Margie” Koshgarian
94, of Worcester, MA , formerly of North Providence, RI, passed away on Tuesday, April 12, 2022, in Worcester, MA. She was the beloved wife of the late Samuel Koshgarian. Born in New York, NY , she was the daughter of the late Sarkis and Santoukdt Klanian. She was the sister of Annette Topakian and of the late Alice Arakelian and Charles Klanian.  Margaret was the co-owner of Dexter Hardware with her husband, Samuel, and his brothers, Steve and Harry and their wives, Marian and Norene.

Margie was a serious bridge player, read a lot, made the best apple pie, especially the crust, was way, way smart, and had a wicked sense of humor.  She was familiar with the use of sarcasm.  She really wanted Hillary to become president.

She is survived by her loving children: David Koshgarianand his wife, Susan; Richard Koshgarian and his wife,Angela; and Julie Koshgarian and her husband, David Thoreen. She was also the cherished grandmother of 9 and great grandmother of 7, and the beloved “Auntie Sunshine” of her nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visiting hour on Saturday, April 23rd from 10-11 am in Sts. Sahag & Mesrob Armenian Church, 70 Jefferson St., Providence, RI, followed by a funeral service at 11 am. Burial will take place in North Burial Ground, Providence.  In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory to Rhode Island Community Food Bank or Smile Train would be welcomed.
