MARGARET (TAHAKJIAN) KALOOSTIAN

101, formerly of Beckwith St., Cranston, passed away Thursday, December 2, 2010 at the Hattie Ide Chaffee Home in East Providence. She was the beloved wife of the late Leon P. Kaloostian. Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Levon B. and Takoohe (Parigian) Tahakjian, she moved to Cranston in 1937.

Mrs. Kaloostian was a member and past treasurer of Sts. Sahag & Mesrob Church Ladies Aide Society.

She was the devoted mother of Peter L. Kaloostian and his wife Helen of Cranston and Robert L. Kaloostian and his wife Sally of Warwick; cherished grandmother of five; loving great-grandmother of seven; and dear sister of Mary Hintlian of MA, Milton Tahakjian of Providence and the late Martin L. Tahakjian and Leo Tahajian.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m., followed by a Funeral Service in Sts. Sahag & Mesrob Armenian Apostolic Church, Providence at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be at North Burial Ground Cemetery in Providence.
