MARGARET R. (MARTIN) GIANGRANDE

87, of Long St., East Greenwich, passed away on Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at Roberts Health Center in North Kingstown. She was the beloved wife of the late Andrew E. Giangrande. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Edwin J. and Mary (Kirby) Martin. Margaret worked at the former A&P Bakery in Cranston for ten years retiring in 1965. She was an avid bowler and enjoyed line dancing. She was the devoted mother of Patricia A. Santos and her husband Richard of North Kingstown and Andrew E. Giangrande, Jr. and his wife Susan of Furlong, PA; loving grandmother of Sheri Lynn Santos and the late Ricky Santos; and dear sister of the late Edwin J. Martin, Jr., Albert Martin, Helen Sweat and Mary Prunty. Funeral from the Nardolillo Funeral Home - SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL, 1111 Boston Neck Rd. (Rt.1A) Narragansett on Monday at 8:45 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Bernard's Church, 275 Tower Hill Rd., North Kingstown at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be at RI Veterans Cemetery in Exeter.
