Margaret (Carroccia) DiTraglia

Margaret DiTraglia, 98, of Ocala, FL, formerly of Block Island, RI, passed away Monday, May 8, 2023. She was the wife of the late John DiTraglia, Sr.  Born in Providence, RI, she was the daughter of the late Vincenzo and Nancy (Guglielmoti) Carroccia.

Margaret was a sportswear buyer for the former Kennedy’s in downtown Providence and later was co-owner of the Royal Hotel and co-owner of the Seacrest Inn both on Block Island.

Margaret is survived by her daughter Jennifer DiTraglia Milner of Ocala, FL formerly of Block Island and John DiTraglia, Jr. (Cheri) of Altamonte Springs, FL; stepmother of Carol Pulsifer of Cranston and the late Jacquilene Kizer; grandmother of Martin Milner (Susy) and Chris DiTraglia (Eva) and their child Bellamy Luca; step-grandmother of David Pulsifer, Charlene Poulios (Michael), Jacqueline Moore and Cindy Pettis; step-great grandmother of Josh and Amber; sister-in-law of Mary Carroccia of Cranston; and her special godchild and niece Barbara Falcetta-Mills. She was the sister of the late Etta Rossi, Ida DiRissio, Helen Piscione, Arthur, John, Vincent, and Dante Carroccia. She will be sadly missed by family and her dog Westley.

Her Mass of Christian Burial to which relatives and friends are invited, will be held on Saturday, June 3rd at 11 a.m. at St. Mark Church, 1 Garden Court, Cranston, followed by graveside inurnment at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, 38105.
