MARGARET "MARGIE" COPPA

88, of Middletown and formerly of Warwick, passed away on Sunday, February 14, 2010 at Newport Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Vincent Coppa. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Angelina (Lapadula) Gesualdi. Mrs. Coppa was a Hairdresser and also taught hairdressing in beautician school. She is survived by her loving children Judy DeFusco and her husband Anthony of Florida and John Coppa of Wakefield. Margie was the cherished grandmother of Cindy Colonna, Debbie Penge, Noelle Barnes, Alex Coppa, the great grandmother of Kristen and Carly Colonna and twin siblings, Andrew and Clino Penge. Margie was the sister of the late Carmella "Millie" DiGennaro, Angelina Gerundio, Josephine Schumacher, Maurice and Louis Gesualdi. Her funeral will be held on Friday at 9:00 am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME 1278 Park Avenue Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in Christ the King Church, 180 Old North Road, South Kingstown. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Thursday 4-8 pm.
