MARGARET (PALMISANO) CIVITO

94, of Johnston, previously of Providence, passed away on Saturday September 17, 2011 at Roger Williams Medical Center in Providence. She was the beloved wife of the late Paul Civito. Margaret was born in Providence, the daughter of the late Rosario and Anna (Comella) Palmisano. Mrs. Civito was a jewelry worker at the former Imperial Pearl Company in Providence. Margaret is survived by her loving daughters, Roseann Moore of Rehoboth, MA and Paula Sivo of Johnston. She was also the cherished grandmother of 3, great grandmother of 2, and was the sister of Teresa "Terry" Zarrella, Samuel Palmisano and Elena Palmisano all of Cranston. Margaret was also the sister of the late Anna D'Alessandro, Rose DeMizio, Angelina Antonucci, Michael Palmisano, Sue Funaro and Anthony Palmisano. Her funeral will be held on Wednesday at 10 am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Brayton Ave., Providence. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Wednesday morning 9-10 am.
