Margaret J. (LaPolla) Bell Of Borden Avenue, Providence, died Wednesday, January 9, 2008, at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence. She was the wife of the late Guy E. Bell. Born in Providence; she was a daughter of the late Frank and Anna (Altieri) LaPolla. Mrs. Bell was the owner and operator of the former Bell's Grill and Ice Cream Parlor in Providence for thirty years before retiring in 1979. She was a volunteer who crocheted hats for infants at Women's and Infants Hospital. She is survived by her loving son Gregory G. Bell and his wife Rennae of Cranston. Mrs. Bell was the cherished grandmother of Brett G. Bell of Cranston and Tiffany A. Bell of San Diego, CA. She was the sister of the late Vincent, Raymond, Armand and William LaPolla, Adeline Toppi and Mary Asciola. Funeral service from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Sunday evening at 7:00 p.m. Burial will be private. VISITING HOURS Sunday evening 5-7 pm.
