Mardiros D. Tashjian

of Normandy Dr., Cranston, passed away Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at Miriam Hospital in Providence.  He was the beloved husband of Rose M. (Malo) Tachjian.  Born in Syria, he was the son of the late Dikran and Naima (Hanna) Tashjian.

Mardiros was the owner of Uncle’s Oil Company for many years.

Besides his wife Rose, he was the devoted father of Correena R. Tachjian and her husband Bradford Boudreau of South Kingstown; loving grandfather of Cora Boudreau; and dear brother of Antranik Tashjian and Mihran Tashjian, both of Warwick, Antonette Diarbi and Siranoush Sahagian, both of Cranston, Maro Alajajian of Syria and the late Janet Simonian and Karabet Tashian.

His funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 9th at 10 a.m. in Sts. Vartanantz Armenian Apostolic Church, Providence (seating will be limited, social distancing and masks required).  Burial at North Burial Ground in Providence will be strictly private.
