Manuel "Manny" Furtado

83, of Cranston passed away Wednesday January 26, 2022 at Miriam Hospital.

He was the beloved husband of the late Jo-Anne (Vaccaro) Furtado.

Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Joaquin and Mary (Rossi) Furtado, Sr.

Manny was a school bus driver for the Cranston School Department for many years before retiring.

He was the devoted father of Manuel F. Furtado, Jr., Michael A. Furtado and Michelle A. Furtado-DeCosta and her husband John. He was the loving grandfather of Olivia, Adam, Justin, Meagan and Matthew, and dear brother of the late Joaquin Furtado, Jr.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave. Cranston on Friday February 4, 2022 9:30 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. George Maronite Church, 1493 Cranston St. Cranston at 10:30 am.

Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.

Visiting hours are Thursday February 3, 2022 from 4 pm to 7 pm.
