MANLIO "MAL" LEPORE

95, of Garden Hills Drive, Cranston, passed away on Friday, June 4, 2010 at Greenwood Nursing Home in Warwick. Mal was the husband of Virginia (Brown) Lepore. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Ralph and Catherine Lepore. Mal was employed with the Internal Revenue Service for 40 years until his retirement. Besides his wife, he is survived by his son Samuel Brown Lepore of Warwick. Mal was also the father of the late Nancy Brown Lepore. He is the grandfather of Robin A. Copeland and her husband Harold of Almont, MI and the great grandfather to Brenden R. Copeland. Mal was the brother of Olga Rebello of Greenville and the late Esther Laudati, Viola DeAngelis and Victor Lepore. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. in St. Francis of Assisi in Warwick. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Parkinson's Disease Foundation, 1359 Broadway, New York, NY 10018 or Cystic Fibrosis Foundation , 6931 Arlington Road, 2nd floor, Bethesda, Maryland 20814.
