went home to her loving Lord in heaven on Friday, August 23, 2013 at her home in Warwick surrounded by her loving family. Muffie lived in the Knightsville section of Cranston with her husband, the late Raymond E. Zanfagna for 58 years before moving to Warwick in August of this year. Born in Providence, RI, she was the daughter of the late Antonio Santurri and Anunziatta (Pazienza) Santurri. She is survived by her loving daughter Maryanne "Mare" Zanfagna, daughter-in-law Susan Culbert, loving and devoted grandsons Matthew Raymond Zanfagna of Queens, NY and Joseph Michael Vincent Zanfagna of Warwick. She was a second mother to her loving and devoted nephew, the late John W. Maki, Sr. She was the sister of the late Angelo Santurri and Susan (Santurri) Williams. Muffie was a devoted housewife and mother; she loved life, and especially spending time with her loving family. She loved company; all were welcomed at 167 Florida Avenue. She leaves behind her six loving and loyal pets that cherished her. Muffie was a communicant of St. Mary's Church in Cranston, RI. Auntie Muffie leaves behind five generations of nieces and nephews all whom she adored. Her funeral will be held on Tuesday at 9 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME &Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary's Church, 1525 Cranston St., Cranston at 10 a.m. Burial will be at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
