MAFALDA "MUFFY" (D'ACCHIOLI) DI RAIMO

Mafalda M. "Muffy" (D'Acchioli) DiRaimo, 86, of Spring Hill Dr., Johnston passed away Tuesday May 12, 2009 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital in North Providence. Born in Johnston, she was the daughter of the late Cosmo and Alfonsina ( Piemonte) D'Acchioli. Mafalda was an active member of St. Rocco's Church Women's Guild and member of Local 251 teamsters union. She is survived by her son Michael J. DiRaimo and his wife Mariana of Columbia, CT; sister of Anna D'Acchioli, Kay D'Acchioli, and Lena Mansolillo, and Cosmo V. D'Acchioli all of Johnston and Christy D'Acchioli of Smithfield, and the late Andreana, Domenico, Olindo, Ernest and Joseph D'Acchioli. She was the sister in-law of Lucille and Marie D'Acchioli and the loving aunt of many nieces and nephews and many great nieces and great nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Rocco's Church, Johnston on Friday at 10 a.m. and may call at the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, Thursday 4-8 p.m. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston.
