MAFALDA "MUFFY" H. (RICCI) QUARANTA

83, of Macklin Street, Cranston, passed away Saturday, April 24, 2010 at Miriam Hospital in Providence. She was the wife of John A. Quaranta, Sr. Born in Johnston, she was the daughter of the late Vittorio and Clara (Croce) Ricci. Muffy, a homemaker, had been a resident of Providence before moving to Cranston 24 years ago. She was a great wife and mother and also an avid New York Yankee Fan. Besides her husband, she is survived by her son John A. Quaranta, Jr. of Cranston. She was the sister of Gene V. Ricci of Cranston, Robert L. Ricci of Johnston, Palma Zampini of Cranston and Elaine A. Ricci of Johnston. Relatives and Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Rocco Church, Atwood Avenue, Johnston on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. Visiting hours and burial will be private.
