MADELINE (GIOVANNUCCI) BALLIRANO

85, of Johnston and Narragansett passed away Wednesday, December 29, 2010, at Cedar Crest Nursing Centre in Cranston.

She was the devoted wife of the late Vincent E. Ballirano.

Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Salvatore and Michelina (Paolilli) Giovannucci. Madeline worked for the Town of Johnston for over 40 years and worked in the Tax Assessor's Office for 25 years, retiring as Deputy Tax Assessor.

She was the beloved mother of Barbara Musco of North Providence, Sandra Jones of Norwood, MA., and Frank Ballirano and his wife Irma of Narragansett; loving grandmother of Ashley, Vincent, and Jonathan; and dear sister of the late Daniel Giovannucci and Emma Iannucci.

Her funeral will be held on Monday at 10:00 A.M. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY 1278 Park Ave Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Cross Church 645 Hartford Ave Providence at 11:00 A.M.

Entombment will be in Our Risen Christ Garden Mausoleum in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS SUNDAY 4-7 p.m.
