M. JEANNE (BERGERON) MOQUIN

72, of Cranston, passed away on Saturday December 10, 2011. She was the beloved wife of Roy L. Moquin Sr. They were married for 53 years. She was born in Providence, a daughter of the late Olier and Beatrice (Plante) Bergeron. Mrs. Moquin was a manager at AT&T Phone Company until her retirement. She was a member of the Verizon Pioneers Club and a longtime member of St. Ann's Church in Cranston. Jeanne dedicated herself to many charities. She volunteered many years as a tutor to help many achieve their GED as young adults, and taught English as a second language through Cranston East. Besides her family as her greatest loves, she enjoyed painting, skiing with the over 70 ski club and cycling with the Narragansett Bay Wheelman Club. Besides her beloved husband she is survived by her loving children, Roy L. Moquin, Jr. of Canada and Denise Griffin of Coventry. She was also the cherished grandmother of 6, Cameron, Patrick and Timothy Moquin, Joseph, Casey and Kayla Lynch. Jeanne was also the sister of 9 brothers and sisters, O. Gerald Bergeron, Jr., Alice C. Fitzgerald, Edward J. Bergeron, Annette D. Clift, Theresa Sousa, Albert J. Bergeron, Lauretta A. Girouard, Claudette A. Gardner and Elizabeth Ryan. Her funeral will be held on Tuesday at 9 am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Ann's Church, Cranston St., Cranston. Burial will take place in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Monday 4-8 pm.
