of North Providence passed away on Sunday, September 12, 2010 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center in Providence following a long illness. Lynne was the mother of Alyssa M. Kashmanian.
Born in Providence and residing most of her life in North Providence, Lynne was the daughter of Judith (Calise) and James DiMario.
Lynne graduated from The Bishop Keough Regional High School and the University of Rhode Island. She was a communicant of St. Anthony's Church in North Providence. Early in her career, Lynne was a volunteer and employee of various social service agencies in Rhode Island. She was a volunteer worker for the CASA Program ( Court Appointed Special Advocate ) for children; she worked at the Fruit Hill Adult Day Care Center in North Providence, and for the MS Society of Rhode Island.
Lynne was the founding owner of Lynne's Dolce e Pane, Inc, a successful biscotti business in Providence. Her creative ability was seen in the variety of her delicious biscotti. Lynne retired from her business in 2008.
Lynne is also survived by her sister Bethany, her husband Stephen Muscatelli and her loving niece Angelica . Lynne also leaves her beloved family of aunts, uncles, cousins and family of devoted and caring friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 12 noon on September 16, 2010 at St. Anthony's Church, 1413 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence. Visiting hours will be held at the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Thursday morning from 9-11am. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers and in loving memory of Lynne, donations to Home & Hospice Care of Rhode Island, 1085 North Main St., Providence, RI 02904 or St. Edward's Food and Wellness Center , 5 Gibbs Street, North Providence, RI 02908 are greatly appreciated.
