Lynn Y. Francis

70, of Rumford, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 8, 2016 in Somerset, MA surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Jerry Francis. Born in Central Falls, she was the daughter of the late Theresa (Wolfe) Petisce. Lynn worked in retail as an assistant manager for many years at the Ann &Hope in Seekonk. Lynn was a woman of faith and the heart of the Francis family. Her spiritual faith was notable through her service as a St. Joseph Province, Dominican Laity.
She is survived by her loving daughters, Kim Francis of Cranston, Jennifer Francis of Somerset and was the mother of the late David Francis. Lynn was also the dear sister of Richard Petisce of Cranston and cherished grandmother of Tiffany Martin, James Smith and great grandmother of Madison Martin. Lynn was well known for her homemade fudge and she loved to spend time with Tiffy, JJ and Maddy she always said they were the "light of her life".
Her funeral will be held on Thursday at 9 am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Pius Church, 55 Elmhurst Ave, Providence. Burial will take place in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence. VISITING HOURS: Wednesday 4-8 pm.
