Lydia Ann Capraro

Lydia A. Capraro, 89, of Cranston, passed away on Saturday, May 22, 2021.  Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Federico and Angelina (DiClemente) Capraro who were both from Italy.  Sadly, her father passed away at a young age, leaving Lydia at 15 months old.  She lived with her mother and two grandmothers.

Lydia graduated from Mount Pleasant High School in 1950.  She received two Anthony Medal awards that she was extremely proud of. After high school, she was offered a position at General Electric Company where she worked until retirement.

She will be remembered for her love of parties and the ability to make people laugh.

Her funeral service and burial at St. Ann Cemetery will be private.
