88, of Cranston, passed away on Monday September 17, 2012 at Hospice Care of RI Philip Hulitar In-Patient Center in Providence.
Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Ciriaco and Teresa (Iacono) Moroni. Luigi was a U.S. WW-II Army veteran and past commander of the Tabor Franchi VFW Post of Cranston. He was a baker for various bakeries for many years before retiring. He was the dear brother of Anthony Moroni of Cranston, Charles Moroni of North Providence and the late Michael and Enrico Moroni.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday at 10 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, 1525 Cranston St. Cranston.
Burial will be private. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
