LUCY (POLESE) MESITI

63, of Wales St., Cranston, passed away on Saturday, March 24, 2012 at RI Hospital in Providence. She was the beloved wife for 44 years of Enzo Mesiti. Born in Roccasecca Frosinone, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Peppino and Brigida (Tedeschi) Polese.

Besides her husband, she was the devoted mother of Enzo Mesiti, Jr. and Tommaso Mesiti, both of Cranston, Lisa Sidoti and her husband Joseph of Johnston and Carla Mesiti and her wife Sherri Boisvert of Warwick; dear sister of Rosina Casale and dear sister and "mother" of Franceschina Polese Luke, Maria Grimshaw, Carmela Ferrante and Gaetana Sorvillo; and loving grandmother of Lorenzo and Ariana Mesiti and Adriana and Julia Sidoti.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Thursday at 9:45 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Ann's Church, 280 Hawkins St., Providence at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be at St. Ann Cemetery in Cranston. VISITING HOURS are Wednesday from 4 to 8p.m.
