LUCY GOODMAN (BOZIGIAN)
LUCY (BOZIGIAN) GOODMAN, 83, of Huxley Ave., Providence, passed away Wednesday, February 6, 2008 at home. She was the beloved wife of Hyman E. Goodman.
Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Hachig K. and Haigouhi "Agnes" (Topalian) Bozigian, she was a lifelong resident of Providence.
Lucy was a nurse's aide at Golden Crest Nursing Centre in North Providence for 12 years, before retiring. She served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during WW-II, and was a member of Sts. Sahag & Mesrob Armenian Apostolic Church and its Women's Guild.
Besides her husband, she was the loving and devoted mother of the late Ronald Elliot Goodman; dear sister of George Bozigian of North Providence, Sherry Hanoian of Providence, Rose Hachigian of Newport Beach, CA, Susan Boghossian of Pawtucket, and the late June Matrumalo; loving grandmother of 3 and loving great-grandmother of 3.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Friday at 9:45 a.m., followed by a Funeral Service in Sts. Sahag & Mesrob Armenian Apostolic Church, Providence at 11:00 a.m.
Burial with Military Honors will be in North Burial Ground Cemetery, Providence.
VISITING HOURS THURSDAY 5-8 p.m.
