Beloved wife of the late Hagop (Jake) Dasdagulian passed on November 7, 2018, eight hours before her 96th birthday. Born in Noble Illinois, she was the daughter of the late Hiram Byrd and Elsie (Morris) Reddish. Sister of the late Alice Emmerson, Darrell Reddish and Mary Bauer. Lucille was a Second Mother to Jean Martinelli and his wife Paula of Johnston. Devoted Grandmother of Elizabeth and Antonio Martinelli. Dear aunt of Judith Peterson, Dennis Reddish, and Sharon Loy. Also survived by many great and great- great nieces and nephews.
With her chic sense of style, Lucille was considered a fashion plate. She had a keen eye for style, which she cultivated during her years at the Miss and Mrs. Shoppe in Centredale, RI. where she worked selling fine ladies clothing from 1955 until its closing in 1975. She completed her fashion career as a bridal consultant at Brides Showcase at the Midland (RI) Mall until her retirement in 1983. Her sense of style stayed with her into her later years, when she was fondly referred to as “the Queen” and “the little movie star” by those who knew and loved her.
Lucille was an avid golfer and bowler. She maintained a 105 Duckpin average and was a fixture in bowling leagues at Town Hall Lanes in Johnston until she was 92. A great lover of animals she had a soft spot for dogs and oddly enough…snakes!
She had a dry wit and loved a good joke and her daily comics-especially Marmaduke.
