78, of North Providence, formerly of Johnston passed away peacefully on Monday, April 16, 2012 at Heritage Hills Nursing Centre, Smithfield. She was the beloved wife of the late Crescenzo A. "Chris" D'Acchioli. Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Eli and Armance (Turcotte) Auclair Vadenais. Lucille was an administrator in the department of Engineering at Kent County Hospital, Warwick for twenty-five years before retiring in 1996. Prior to working at Kent County Hospital she was employed at the former Almacs Supermarkets. Lucille was a member of the St. Rocco's Choir and Women's Guild.
She is survived by her loving daughter Alice M. Ballou and her husband Michael of Smithfield. Lucille was the cherished grandmother of Christopher M. Ballou of Cumberland. She was the sister-in-law of Anna D'Acchioli, Lena Mansolillo, Catherine "Kay" D'Acchioli, Marie D'Acchioli, Cosmo D'Acchioli, and the late Andreanna D'Acchioli, Mafalda DiRaimo, Domenico, Olindo, Joseph, and Ernest D'Acchioli.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Friday at 8:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 a.m. in St. Rocco's Church, Atwood Avenue, Johnston. Interment will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
