LUCIA (GIULIANI) MACCARONE

Lucia (Giuliani) Maccarone 91, of Glenwood Avenue, Cranston, died Thursday, June 26, 2008 at home. She was the beloved wife of Mario "Jim" Maccarone. They were married for the past sixty-six years. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Michele and Salvatrice (Spermulli) Giuliani. Mrs. Maccarone will be remembered by her kindness, gentle spirit and compassion. Besides her husband she is survived by her devoted children, James Maccarone and his wife Judith of Cranston, Ronald Maccarone and his wife Alene of Danville, CA, Robert Maccarone and his wife Denise of White Plains, NY and Mary Lou Clark and her husband David of Manchester, CT. Mrs. Maccarone was the cherished grandmother of eight and the great-grandmother of three. She was the sister of Rose Petrosino, Anne Leschi both of Flagler, FL, Etta Oliver and her husband Virgil of East Providence and the late John Giuliani. Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Monday at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in the Church of St. Mark, 9 Garden Court, Cranston. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston.
