LOUISE "MAMA DELL" DELLA TORRE

Louise (Casale) "Mama Dell" Della Torre 92, of Eldridge St., Cranston passed away Monday January 28, 2008 at Roger William Medical Center Providence. She was the beloved wife of the late Michael A. Della Torre. She was born in Providence, daughter of the late Giuseppe and Rosa (Ricci) Casale. Louise was a floor lady for RJ Manufacturing, and retired from Jewel Case, Inc. As a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother Louise will always be remembered by her family for her love and total devotion. She was a selfless, hard working, independent woman who exemplified the true meaning of mother. All of our lives are richer for having been touched by hers. Her love of cooking, baking and making the holidays so special have become a family tradition. Her exceptional, self-taught sewing, knitting and cooking skills and her patience in teaching them to us is a priceless gift. We all have been blessed to have shared in her life and to have a part of her in us. She will be truly missed but never forgotten. She is survived by her loving children, Dianna Grelle of Cranston, Michael Della Torre of Warwick. She was the cherished grandmother of 4 and great grandmother of 5. She was the sister of the late Pasco, Palmena and Raymond Casale. Her funeral will be held on Thursday at 9 am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME 1278 Park Ave. Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in Holy Ghost Church Knight St. Providence . Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Wednesday 5-8 pm.
