LOUISE (GIOVANNUCCI) TESTA

86, of Providence, passed away on Tuesday July 27, 2010 at Hopkins Manor, North Providence. She was the beloved wife of Ernest Testa, her husband for 60 years. Louise was born in Providence, the daughter of the late Michael and Carmella (Verdelotti) Giovannucci. Mrs. Testa worked as a seamstress at Shepard's Department Store. She devoted 20 years of her life as a volunteer librarian at the former St. Francis Chapel Ministry. Louise was a very devoted follower of Saint Pio, and faithfully attended his prayer group services held at Sacred Heart Church. She will be sadly missed by her husband Ernest, her brother Edmund Giovannucci of Providence, her sister, Marie Dalma and her husband BJ of Providence, her nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews and her great grand niece. Her funeral will be held on Friday at 10 am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME 1278 Park Ave. Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am in St. Bartholomew's Church, Laurel Hill Ave. Providence. Burial will take place in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Thursday 5-8 pm.
