LOUISE (MOLLO) MARANDOLA

Of North Providence, in her 100th year, passed away on Wednesday April 24, 2013 at the Heritage Hills Nursing Centre, Smithfield. She was the beloved wife of the late William Marandola. Born in Peacedale, R.I., she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Clelia Mollo.

She was a resident of North Providence since 1947, previously living in Providence. Louise was a former medical assistant secretary for 24 years in the office of Drs. Dario Alex Herrera, Tadeus Gotlib and Rocco Marzilli. Prior to that she was a legal secretary for 5 years in the law office of the late Rafael Vicario, Harold Arcaro, Sr., and John O. Pastore. She was also a former member of Providence Association of Medical Assistants.

She is survived by her loving children, Joyce Sciotto and her husband Frank of Johnston, William J. Marandola of North Providence, Cheryl Laferriere and her husband David of Foster, and Roger V. Marandola and his wife Lois of Johnston; her 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; her sister Eileen Varone of North Providence. She was also the sister of the late Anita, Guido, Roger, Flora, and Robert Mollo.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Monday at 9 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Augustine Church, 639 Mount Pleasant Avenue, Providence. Interment will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
