LOUISE (MANZI) LANCELLOTTA

of Cranston, passed away on Easter Sunday, April 8, 2012 surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with cancer. She was the beloved wife of the late John G. Lancellotta. Born in Cranston, she was the daughter of the late Raffaele and Angelina (Soprano) Manzi.

Louise was a teacher's assistant for 28 years for the Cranston School Department and received many awards and acknowledgements for her outstanding work with children. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family and playing with her grandson John Henry.

She was the devoted mother of Cheryl A. Lancellotta and Brenda L. MacKenzie, both of Cranston; cherished Nana of John Henry who was the apple of her eye; and dear sister of John R. Manzi, Sr., Rose Addessi and Pauline Finocchio, all of Cranston and Marie Santoro of Providence. She was the sister of the late Joseph, Thomas, Emilio and Antonio Manzi, Ann Ross, Julia Russo and Lucy Marino; and mother-in-law of the late John C. MacKenzie.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Wednesday at 8:45 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Church of the Sacred Heart, 820 Providence St., West Warwick at 10 a.m. Interment will be at St. Ann Cemetery in Cranston. VISITING HOURS are Tuesday from 5-8 p.m.
