LOUISE P. (DE CICCIO) FERRUCCI

Louise P. (DeCiccio) Ferrucci 96, of Pine Court, Wakefield, died Tuesday, May 26, 2009 at South County Hospital, Wakefield. She was the wife if the late Ugo D. Ferrucci. Born in Fall River, MA, she was the daughter of the late Bernardo and Ginetta (Boretti) DeCiccio. Mrs. Ferrucci was a secretary in the tax assessor's office for the City of Providence for eight years. She was also an administrative assistant for the former Il Progresso Italian Newspaper of Providence. Mrs. Ferrucci was a former member of the South Kingstown Zoning Board. Louise was a past president and member of the South County Business and Professional Women's Club and a member of the Tower Hill Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. She was the oldest resident of Middlebridge since 1949. She is survived by her son Michael A. Ferrucci and his wife Michele of Wakefield. Mrs. Ferrucci was the grandmother of Michael G. Ferrucci of Wakefield and Lauren N. Little and her husband David of Jacksonville, FL. She was the sister of the late Alfredo DeCiccio. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 114 High Street, Wakefield and may call at the Nardolillo Funeral Home, SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL, 1111 Boston Neck Road, (Rt.1A) Narragansett on Friday 5-8 p.m. Burial will be in St .Ann's Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Home and Hospice Care of RI, 143 Main Street, Wakefield, RI 02879.
