77, of Dyer Ave. Cranston, passed away on Saturday September 24, 2011 at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence. Born in Providence she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Filomena (D'Arezzo) D'Uva.
Ms. D'Uva has been a participant at Cranston Arc for nearly 40 years. She was a member of the Senior Activity program as well as an avid Bingo player and arts & crafts enthusiast. Ms. D'uva will be fondly remembered as the official greeter at Cranston Arc, warmly calling out "Good morning, how are you?" each day.
Ms. D'Uva is survived by her loving cousins; Pat, Delphina, Michelina, Maria, Viola and John. In addition to her cousins Ms D'Uva is survived by David, Charles, Clara, Alice, Joanne with whom she made her home and dear friends Lily, Deb and Armand as well as numerous caregivers and staff.
Her funeral will be held on Wednesday at 9:15 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Ann's Church 1493 Cranston St. Cranston at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
