88, passed away on Saturday, April 27, 2013, at Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center, Providence. He was the husband of the late Angelina (Torti) Soprano. Born in Cranston, he was the son of the late Luigi and Assunta (Meschino) Soprano. Mr. Soprano worked for the City of Cranston as a mechanic at the Water Pollution Dept. for twenty-five years before his retirement. He was a member of the Warwick Elks, a Navy Veteran of WWII, and was on the USS. Ursula-DO. and USS. Isherwood-DO. in the North Atlantic from 1941-1946. He is survived by his children, Carol A. Ryan and James L. Soprano, of Cranston. Louis was also the father-in-law of the late Daniel Ryan and Donna Lee Soprano. He was the grandfather of Benjamin, Leeanne and David. Louis was the brother of Fred Soprano of Ventura, CA and the late Anthony and Mary Soprano. Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Wednesday at 8:45 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Sacred Heart Church, Providence St., West Warwick at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
