LOUIS SCIARRA, JR

69, of Cranston, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 25, 2012, at Roger Williams Medical Center, Providence. He was the beloved husband of sixteen years to Georgene (Smith) Sciarra. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Louis and Rose (Lima) Sciarra, Sr. Louis was a truck driver for thirty-five years before retiring in 2005. He was a member of Union Local #251, East Providence.

Besides his wife, he is survived by one sister, Joann Belanger and her husband "Skip"of Cranston. He was the uncle of Robert Ferrazza and his wife Dawn of Georgetown, MA, and Christopher Ferrazza and his companion Phillip Rae of Cranston. Louis was the great uncle of Dante and Isabella Ferrazza. He is also survived by Louis M. Sciarra.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Thursday at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Rocco's Church, 927 Atwood Avenue, Johnston. Interment will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS Wednesday 5-7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Briarcliffe Manor Activities Fund, 49 Old Pocasset Road, Johnston, RI 02919.
