LOUIS PENNACCHIA, SR

76, of Cranston, passed away on Tuesday, January 24, 2012. He was the husband of Carmella (Raso) Pennacchia. They were married 53 years. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Pasquale and Olga (Menna) Pennacchia. Mr. Pennacchia was a bus driver for RIPTA for 31 years and he also was a US Army veteran. Besides his wife, he is survived by his loving children, Louis Pennacchia, Jr, Stephanie Don Francesco, David Pennacchia and Michael Pennacchia. He was also the cherished grandfather of 13, great grandfather of 6 and was the brother of Peter Pennacchia, Joseph Pennacchia, Viola Rainone, Nancy Pasquazzi and Rosalie Corsi. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service on Friday at 11 am in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, followed by burial in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston.
