LOUIS M. PELOPIDA

Louis M. Pelopida, 86, of Cranston passed away Sunday June 17, 2012. He was the husband of the late Josephine (Rustelli) Pelopida.

Born in Worcester, MA he was the son of the late Elisio and Ida (Messore) Pelopida.

Mr. Pelopida was employed by the former ITT Hammel & DAHL Co. presently ITT Grinnel as a toolmaker for 40 years until retiring. He was a WW-II Air Force Veteran.

He is survived by two sons Louis E. Pelopida of Warwick and Joseph R. Pelopida and his wife Sandra of Cranston; six grandchildren; 1 great granddaughter; he was the brother of Jeannette Colavecchio of Johnston, Anthony Pelopida of FL and the late Joseph and Lawrence Pelopida, Lena Silvio, Connie Tessitore, Liza Boffi and Ann DiCaprio.

His funeral will be held on Friday at 9am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave. Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Apostles Church Cranston at 10am. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS Thursday 5-8pm.
