LOUIS J. MARANDOLA, 53, of Gentian Ave., North Providence, passed away Friday, November 23, 2007 at Miriam Hospital in Providence.
Born in Providence, the beloved son of Mary J. (Tripodi) Marandola of North Providence and the late Alfred J. Marandola, he moved to North Providence in 1998.
Mr. Marandola was a certified optician at Eye Care Services in Providence with Dr. Lawrence Norton for the past 20 years. He was a graduate of Central High School in Providence, and later received his Associate Degree in Optometry. He was a member of RI Association of Registered Opticians.
Besides his mother, he was the dear brother of Donna M. Guglietta and her husband Lareto of North Scituate, and Sandra M. D'Abate of North Providence.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Tuesday at 9:45 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Ghost Church, Knight St., Providence at 11:00 a.m.
Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS Monday 4-8 p.m.
