LOUIS N. FERRO

85, of Cherry Blossom Lane, Coventry and previously of Cranston passed away on Friday, August 6, 2010 at Kent County Hospital, Warwick. He was the husband of the late Josephine C. ( Rampone ) Ferro. He was born in Providence a son of the late Louis and Beatrice ( Pintarelli ) Ferro. Mr. Ferro was a co-owner of the former Ferro Novelty Co. of Johnston until his retirement in 1982. He was a WW II Army veteran and a former member of the Alpine Country Club, Cranston. He is survived by 2 sons, Anthony Ferro and his wife Rana of Coventry and Louis Ferro of VT. He also leaves behind 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He was the brother of Marie DeCesare of Johnston and the late Nicholas Ferro and Eleanor Marchetti. His funeral will be held on Tuesday at 8am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in SS. John & Paul Church, 341 S. Main St., Coventry at 9am. Burial will take place in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS Monday 6-8pm.
