Louis Corvese, III, 68, of Randall St., Cranston, passed away Saturday, February 3, 2024, surrounded by his family at RI Hospital in Providence.  Born in Providence, he was the cherished son of the late Louis Corvese, Jr. (Sgt. CPD) and Ann J. (Santomauro) Corvese.

Louis was a quadriplegic since he was19 years old from a car accident. He was determined to go to college and went on to obtain his real estate and social work degree and worked in the restaurant industry. He served in the USMC during the Vietnam War and was a Board Member of PARI, an organization that serves the needs of people with spinal cord injuries.

He was a pillar of strength for his family, always there to lend a listening ear or offer words of wisdom despite his own battles.

Louis was the devoted father of Louis Corvese, IV and Michael Corvese both of Johnston; loving grandfather of three; dear brother of Deborah Corvese Buono and her husband Jeff Van of Cranston, Kenneth Corvese and his wife Veronica of West Warwick and Brian Corvese of Providence.  He is also survived by his “Special Niece” Stephanie Buono; his personal aide for over 30 years Richard Moskaluk; and several loving nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, February 8th at 10 a.m. in St. George Maronite Catholic Church, 1493 Cranston St., Cranston, followed by burial with military honors at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.  Visiting hours and flowers are respectfully omitted.
